Online tutorials

Each series of tutorials are created ‘Live’ online to offer a term time schedule. It is a Sewcial get together with like-minded people offering support with a community spirit.

The idea is you can join in as and when you are able. Each session is recorded so if you have to miss a tutorial you can watch at a time that suits you and refer back to it anytime in the future.

You may never make the designs shown, but learning how and why we do certain things in the fashion industry is inspirational. Most people like to watch, write notes and take ideas for future reference. Some like to sew their version in between tutorials.

You can choose to be involved as little or as much as your lifestyle will allow. At the level of sewing, you prefer.

For many of us this is a way to be in contact with likeminded people. To have fun and communicate from afar. You do not need to leave your home and yet you can be transported to my sewing studio for a catch up with other fabulous fashion and fabric makers!

ONLINE sewcial events

The success of these events has been mind-blowing. Each event has been created as a ‘Live’ online session bringing together a community spirit with serious learning.

The wine evenings are a sewcial get together with like-minded people. Add a glass of wine and sit back with a pen and paper and watch the journey unfold. Feel free to add any comments to the conversation feed or watch the recording later at your leisure.

You do not need to make the designs covered in these events; this is a fun get together lecture-style study discovering the magic behind creating design, explaining the HOW and the WHY. You can bank that information and apply as and when it is needed. Then combine with other areas of fashion. This will help you to make fantastic choices and achieve successful results every time.

ZOOM CLASSES

These classes have been designed for smaller groups of 12 that wish to be taken through specific subjects step-by-step.

These classes are spread over several weeks (3-5 weeks) depending on the subject. One 2 hour class per week, 7:30pm - 9:30pm GMT

the SIGNATURE MASTERCLASSes

Spend two wonderful days in the heart of Bury-St-Edmunds, surrounded by ‘fashion, fabric and fabulosity’.

A rare opportunity to work on a design of your ‘own choosing’. Together we will assess your vision and work to make your dream come true.

Your goals can be suggested and together a suitable timetable can be planned, prior to your class date.

My intention is to share with you my knowledge and lifetimes experience from working in the trade as a designer, maker and boutique owner.

I am offering you a direct Professional Route without cutting corners!!

These courses are limited to 2 spaces only. Wherever possible I endeavour to team you up with a like minded participant, so both of you can learn from each other and make the most of your time here.
